Stepping Stones

"breaking the chains that bind our lives today"
A Christian-oriented Twelve Step Support Program

Meeting times:  Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6:45 p.m.
and Wednesdays at 11:45 a.m.
in A.S. Lee building directly behind the main building

The purpose of Stepping Stones is to provide a path of recovery for the dependent and co-dependent that will lead to a stable, productive and balanced life.  There are many compulsive behaviors which mask the root cause of destructive living.  Some of these are drug/alcohol addiction, compulsion with work, money, food, control, sex, approval, toxic relationships, gambling and many others.  Our goal is to help a person discover the root cause resulting in destructive behavior so they can make healthy changes in their lives.

If someone you know or you are having problems in life caused by destructive living, please be encouraged that your life can change.  It is the intent of the group to provide a safe place where one can be honest about his/her own problems, listen to and consider the problems of others without judgment, and to share thoughts and possibilities with each other. There is healing in honesty and confidential sharing.

The identity of every person in the group, every thought expressed or problem shared must remain within the walls of our meeting place. Only with this assurance are we free to share openly and freely, therefore every participant is required to sign a Statement of Confidentiality.  It is our sincere hope that each participant will begin to see how Jesus Christ speaks to his/her dependency/co-dependency needs. HE IS ABLE to liberate all from the bondage of addiction and compulsive behavior.  There is no cost to participate.
